There will be a 50/50, door prizes and a raffle ticket sold for a chance to win a Black Hat Blingy Basket.

For your information, the Sunday Brunch Menu selections change every Sunday. There is always a substantial variety of delicious food on the buffet. The menu could include the following; selections from the Baker’s Showcase, (an assortment of freshly baked yummy goods); Breakfast Beginnings, (eggs, breakfast meats and potatoes). Either a Belgian Waffle Station and/or Chef Attended Omelet station with a variety of cheeses, seasonal vegetables and cured meats; and a Meat Carving Station. There will be a soup and salad selection and vegetables and starch.
Villa Italia Dessert -There will be a display to include cakes, tortes, assorted pastries and cookies, fresh carved and whole fruits.  Coffee, Tea, Cranberry & Orange Juice Included.

By the time 2016 winter rolls back around again and with the New Year getting closer, the Diamond Divas want to get the party started early and invite you to join us at the Speakeasy- End of Prohibition Bash. Bring on the Glitz and Glamour of the 1920’s and Jazz Years Era.
Come as a flapper or come as you are, Dress up as a gangster or even a screen star, it will be a fun evening, just bring yourself, in your Black Hat Attire and Bling, if that is your desire.   Our afternoon will include a seated luncheon, vendor jewelry and holiday gift shopping, 50/50, door prizes, favors, music and dancing and photo opts.

Updated Information on this Bus Trip   
Chucky was just told that the Yankee Trails bus to Holyoke may be cancelled. They don’t have enough passengers.  She was told that they are still taking reservations. They need just 5 more people to take the bus.  They have reduced the price to 79.00 that is 10.00 off!  If they do get enough passengers, our ladies  that paid to take the bus will all get a 10.00 refund.  Please invite friends of the RH ladies.  They don’t have to wear red and purple. This event is all GREEN!  There is still time!

MOM PROM – APRIL 29TH   AT MALLOZZI’S IN ROTTERDAM

Vicky Holley and Barb DeMarco brought a fun suggestion to our group. The Mom Prom, Friday April 29th 6:30 at Mallozzi’s.   At our Catch Your Breath Lunch last Saturday, Vicky went over some of the details of the Prom with the group.  This event is hosted by the Zonta Organization as a fund raiser for local service organizations. 


Presently, Vicky has reserved 2 tables of ten for us. She will be able to reserve more tables if we need them.  Our cost per person for the Event is $50.00 per person plus $5 donation to Zonta specifically from our R H group.  If we don’t have 20 registrants,(at our luncheon last Saturday, 14 indicated they wanted to go)-  Darla, Vicky’s contact at Zonta, fill seats for us to round off the two tables so we get the lower table of ten price anyways.   She needs our minimum count commitment from Vicky by February 20th.


We rented two Limos to drive us from Vicky’s home to Mallozzi’s.  The price is 43.50 including tax but we would need to add a tip for the driver.  Three seats are available in the limo.  If you are interested in a limo ride, please email or call Linnie to let her know you would like a seat and then mail your check made payable to Linda Pflieger in the amount of 43.50 to 336 Shirlwood Drive, Schenectady, NY 12306.  The limos are rented from 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM and will pick up our group at Vicky Holley’s home and drop us off at Mallozzi’s and then will come back to pick us up after the prom to drive us back to Vicky’s. The limos seat 8 people. 


Our chapter is invited to solicit a vendor to donate a basket for raffle if we want to. Or the Chicks could put a basket together directly from us-no obligation. Is anyone interested in being responsible for this - if so, let Vicky know in a note or email.


Vicky and Barb are planning on hosting a pre prom party at Vicky’s home in Niskayuna. Vicky will provide the wine and Barb is planning on bringing a cheese and cracker plate.  If you would like to bring a snack to share, please let Barb know what you plan to bring.   There is plenty of on street parking for anyone who wants to double up and drive together to the Prom.

If you are planning on attending the Mom Prom, please send your check made payable to Vicky Holley in the amount of 55.00, which will include your $5.00 donation. Once she receives all the checks, she will send in one check to Zonta for our reservations. If you have any questions regarding the prom, please contact Vicky.
