_Miss Lodema’s Tea Room in Sharon springs on June 6th
Time:12:30PM
Marty has made a reservation at Miss Lodema’s Tea Room in Sharon springs on June 6th. They explained that upon arrival you will choose your tea cup from their collection of antique cups. You will then be seated to a tea consisting of a soup course then the tiers will be served with a selection of scones and tea sandwiches and a selection of desserts. The cost is 18.95 plus tax and tip for a total of 23.88 to be paid that day.
The following signed up Brenda, Chucky, Ade, Judy, Sandy, Linda, Marie, Marion, Janet, Ellie, Marsha, Sue, Pat and Lorraine.
Marty will need to know if you are planning to attend as they have a minimum of 12 in order to do the private tea.
Sharon Springs is an interesting little town and we can all go shopping after tea at some of the little shops in town.

June 21st is the first day of summer so let’s add something summer to our hats and go for dinner at The Factory Eatery and Spirits, 20 Prospect St, Ballston Spa.
We will have a contest for the most blinged out sunglasses. Now that the Rt 7 Diner is closed we will try for a meeting along with celebrating summer. We have lots of things coming up!

Mohawk River Cruise
Date: Saturday – July
21st
Time: 2:30pm-3:30pm
(plan to be at the dock by 2:15pm)
Place: The Water's Edge Lighthouse
Restaurant at Freeman’s Bridge Road
Price: $23.00
Attire: Theme - Red Hat casual summer attire and flat sandals or shoes for the boat ride. If you would like to add in nautical accents to your outfit, please do!
This cruise is new to our end of the Mohawk. It has gotten
good reviews and something fun to do on a July Saturday afternoon. It is a 27 passenger and is a glass bottom
boat. It will be interesting to see as we look down into the Mohawk River! The Cruise takes about an hour and it will
cruise towards lock 7 and then turn around to come back.
The captain will pick us up at the Water’s Edge Lighthouse
dock and then drop us off after the cruise.
After the cruise we will have a late lunch or early dinner at the Water’s Edge Lighthouse.
If this is something you would like to do, please let me

The event information listed below is being held to support homeless Moms and their children. Kathy Rossello shared this on facebook and after reading it, I thought what a great way for our sorority and chapter to have a fun night out but also and more importantly our attendance and purchases will help the support the homeless. If this is a night that you are free and it Looks like we can buy the tickets at the door ,as you can decide as the date gets closer. Hope to see you there! Lynn thought an August picnic would be fun. She has reserved the pavilion at central park in Schenectady for August 24th from 12 to 4. We are going to have sandwiches from Slicks, drinks and dessert.

The Sparkling Scarlets are having their annual Halloween Party at Professor Javas on Wolf Road in Albany and the Chicks are invited to attend. We will be ordering off the menu. This is always a fun evening so plan to attend wearing your favorite costume!

Other events in the works and planning stages :
Kathy Rosello has suggested having sandwiches from Slicks. As we talked about it being too small a place for all of us we thought maybe a picnic in the park would be good. We need to plan a date.
Vicky was looking into a summer event as was Lynn.
Barb suggested we go back to the restaurant on the river that Judy brought us to last year.
Another suggestion we have is the Lake George boat cruise.
And another suggestion is a trip downstate to walk across the Hudson. Lots going on. Any suggestions are more than welcome!
