  We certainly are getting the winter freeze and wind. 
  
  Sure makes you thankful to be warm and inside. If you do go out,
  make sure you bundle up as you get real cold real quick even for a quick run
  from your car to a store. 
  
  Several of us ventured out to celebrate Chinese New Year at the Chinese Buffet.
  Everything was hot and delicous and we all sampled some new items on their buffet.
  The desserts we to die for.  We also had a chapter meeting which we covered many of the 
  upcoming events.  We discussed the following:
   
     
  February 11th Friday
- Valentine Dinner at Verdiles, Troy, NY 
  The restaurant opens at 3 PM we will be able to enjoy an early dinner and can be back 
  on the road before 5PM  We will order off the menu and receive separate checks.
  If you are interested in attending please let Linnie know by February 5th so I can make our 
  reservationa.  
  We plan to carpool and tentative plans is one car will be leaving from rotterdam at 2:15pm and one
  car will be leaving the Clifton Park area. travel plans are in presently in process depending on how many 
  YA YA Divas will be attending.
   
  February 15 - Annual Wretched Access Luncheon at Linnie’s home at Noon.
  This was rescheduled from the orignal date of January 25th. It will be begin at noon 
   
  February 19 – Black Hat Attire - Golden Girls Show at Proctors Tickets are 45.00 –. The show is a
  Golden Girls puppet show. Show time is 7pm. If you are interested in
  attending, please contact Ade Birchler at 518-688-7999 as soon as possible,
  she only as two tickets left. We are planning on meeting at the Whistling Tea
  before the show. Please let Ade know if you are attending or plan to. She will
  provide you with the time we should meet at the Tea shop.

  IRISH COUNTRY ST. PATRICKS CELEBRATION STARRING DEIRDRA REILLY
   
   Where: The Delaney House, 3 Country Club Road, Holyoke, MA.
  (413-532-1800) $59.00 includes, meal, tip & show. Hors d’oeuvre start at
  11:30AM, Meal at 12:00 PM, show at 2:15PM and is over by 3:15PM. If interested
  in going, please contact Susan Carmack by February 18th. Phone: 518-915-4552 or
  email: susucarmack@aol.com Money is due by February 25th. Please make check
  payable to Susan Carmack and mail to 7 Pico Road, Clifton Park, NY 1265. Dress
  is Red Hat, but you can add a little green to your outfit. Depending on how
  many are going we will need drivers. Passengers, please remember we will be
  reimbursing the drivers for our share of gas and tolls. Meet at Latham Farms
  parking lot near Sam’s Club at 9:30AM. I anyone is interested in stopping at
  the Lee Outlets on the way home, please let me know so we can arrange rides
  accordingly. (Rides for people shopping and those coming home after the show.
       
  March 27 – Black Hat Attire - Merrily We Roll Along at Schenectady Light Opera
  Company – Gayle presented SLOC is presenting the show Merrily We Roll Along.
  It is a matinee show and we need to be there by 1:15pm to have our photo taken
  with the performers. It was decided that we will meet at the Whistling Tea at
  11am for lunch before the show. If you are planning on attending, please
  contact Gayle at 518-703-0080 by March 10 Tickets to the show are 24.00 per
  person. Parking is available that day in the parking lot across from Pinhead
  Susans (corner of Liberty Street and Broadway)
  
  April 1 – To Celebrate April Fool’s Day – Lunch at the Plum Blossom Chinese Restaurant 
  located on Hoosick St, Troy Time: Noon, Please contact Chucky if you are interested in attending

  April 8 - Ya Ya Monthly Meeting and Luncheon at the Bellvue Cafe, Broadway, Rotterdam, NY
  Please let Linnie know if you are planning on attending at 518-355-3334. 
   
  May 14 – La Tri O’s Red Hatted Spring Fling 2022 – Triton Hose Company, Tunkhannock, PA 
  
  The Chapter hosting putting on a fun event, we have gone to many of the events
  they previously hosted. If you are interested in attending. Linnie will be sending
  in checks for anyone planning on attending so our checks all go in together. Or if you 
  rather send in your checks directly, the contact person is listed below and whom the checks
  should be written to.
  
  Please let Linnie know if you are planning to go as soon as possible as the event
  will fill quickly. 
   
  Please make out your check in the amount of 30.00 to La Tri O, and please refer to the flyer, 
  it is included in your red folder, more
  information. 
   
  Several of us are thinking about leaving early on Saturday morning, 
  to register and attend the event and then staying over Saturday evening
  and driving home Sunday or Monday morning, making it a girl’s weekend.
   
  August 26-August 28 – 2022 Virginia Funvention Convention, Richmond, VA (information
  is included in your red folder)
