           There will be an Ugly Sock Grab Bag Game fill a pair of socks with $15 worth of surprises

JANUARY 7th -  CATCH YOUR BREATH LUNCHEON

We have a reservation at noon on January 7th. For our annual “Catch your Breath” lunch.  Time to relax after the busy holidays.  Purple Pub is a great place, they are noted for their pizza but also have plenty of other yummy menu items to choose from.

Black Hat DIamond Divas November News 2016

Dear Diamond Divas,

  The leaves are falling and we are getting close to our November Speakeasy Event.  

Included in this news is the Speakeasy flyer that includes the luncheon selections for that afternoon.  Please email me back your selection choice.  If you have not reserved your seat, please mail me your check and include your meal choice on your check.  Looking forward to seeing you all.

The Black Hat Diamond Divas are having an Early New Year’s Celebration

      The Speakeasy – End of Prohibition Bash!

 The Bash will include a plated luncheon, enterainment by Dominick and Pete of Music for Life( ;et the Good Times Rocka and Roll), vendor shopping with Danielle, 50/50, door prizes, basket raffle and photo opts.
Come as a Flapper or come as you are, Dress up as a Glitzy Gangster, as a Vamp or even a Screen Star. The color you choose to wear is up to you in 1920’s style; with your Black Hat and Bling, you will be the Bee’s Knee’s, no matter.

October is Collecting of Chapter Dues Month

Please send your dues to Marty Deschaine, 1289 Parkwood Blvd, Schenectady, NY  12308 were due by October 15th.  Dues are $12.00 per year.  If you are attending our dinner meeting at the Route 7 Diner on 10/19/16, you can pay your dues at that time to Marty.

 A NOTE FROM OUR QUEEN

 10/19/16   Dinner Meeting
We are going to meet Wed night October 19th at 6:00 at Route 7 Diner in Latham.  We will have dinner and a meeting.

As you know October is our month for collecting dues.  Many have already sent checks.  Maybe we can wrap it up at the meeting.  I will have a report of where our bank balance is and how it got there.  We can also talk about some fun ideas of ways to use our dues.

We need to hear a report from Chucky on the bus trip to the wine country.  I am sure it was a fun trip and you have fun stories for us.

We also need to hear about Linda's daughter's wedding.  I know she used some of the gift cards from us to get herself ready! 

We also need to hear about Barb and Tina's recent Red Hat Trip!  Wait until you hear about the beautiful favors they received.  Barb and Tina are certainly our Traveling Chicks!!

Linda can also fill us in on her black hat event the end of November.

Maybe we can get more info on the Christmas party at Shirley's.

We have been invited to some events from other groups, both red and black and maybe we can hear from some who attended. 

We will have a 50/50.

We can also go over upcoming events.  Again, we are planning some things and we are invited to other groups events.

If there are other events or other business anyone would like to talk about bring along some info and we will discuss it.

I hope most of us can attend.  Let me know before the 15th so I can call her with a final number.

The Pumpkin Decorating Contest is a fun way to use your imagination and artistic talent. Pumpkins can be real or artificial but not larger than a cantaloupe.
