September 12th - Saturday 9:30AM
Chicks Breakfast and Chapter Meeting

Marty opened the meeting discussing our upcoming events.  She stressed how

inportant it is for our members to respond to emails that are sent out. Whether you

are going to attend an event or unable to attend an event it is appreciated if everyone

would please respond.  We realize we are all busy and have things going on but if

you check the blog or check the newsletter if you do have a computer and respond, it

would be a great help.  Believe it or not, your respond or lack of can make or break

and event from happening.

Marty reviewed with the group the upcoming events, we have a lot of events coming up over the next few months left in 2015 and 2016 is starting to take off.

Brenda, Jeannette, Barb, Chucky and Ade, Sue bought up some great events to go to.

Marty also asked if our group would rather have more meetings to discuss upcoming event rather than continue with the blog, the vote was to continue with the blog . The subject of the Holday Party that was listed to occur on in the beginning of December.  It was decided tha we will have our Glitzy Chicks Holiday Party at Shirley's on December 19th.,

Marty then discussed our recent meeting with the Red hat Queen's Council.  She asked the 21 Chicks in attendance if they wanted to support the Council on their upcoming plans to Host a Red Hat Convention in Upstate New York in the year 2018.  the chicks showed a show of hands supporting the Queen's Council, by 100% support.  Our chapter also approved we would donate $100,00 over the next three yeats to the Queen's Council's convention fund by donating half of 50/50 raffle every time be meet to the Council fund.

We need to think about when we want to have our Birthday Bash Event. Does anyone have any ideas of a nice place to hold it and which month would be fun.  Please think about it so we can plan something.

The meeting ended with Brenda Earhart winning the 50/50!  Congratulations  Brenda!!
