We have joined together to offer you a fun packed
weekend of Eating, Hatting, Shopping, and all around fun. Hope you can join us
to celebrate another year of hatting.

REGISTRATION: SATURDAY: 10:00
a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
LUNCH SERVED – 12:00 NOON
MEAL CHOICES: GRILLED
CHICKEN BREAST, HERB ROASTED SIRLOIN, OR FOUR CHEESE RAVIOLI. ALL MEALS COME
WITH SALAD, ROLLS & BUTTER, COFFEE & TEA AND CHEESECAKE FOR DESSERT.
Cost of luncheon $30.00
We have obtained special room rates for our overnight
guests: $139.00 plus taxes for either single or double rooms. (There is no extra charge for additional people in room.) The hotel is centrally
located to many restaurants; it has access to the Clifton Country Mall for
shopping and their food court. Many restaurants and much more. The Saratoga
Casino and the Schenectady Rivers Casino are only a short drive away. Rotterdam
Mall also hosts the aquarium and it is only a short drive away.
Hope you can make this a mini vacation and visit our area and see what we have
to offer.
We will have a
special raffle for Early Registration (if check is received by February 29th). These ladies will
be placed in a special drawing. (Prize to be determined.)
Special raffle for: Our Lottery
Tree. Each guest that brings a $2.00 lottery scratch off will be given a
ticket for a special raffle. Winner takes all the lottery tickets.
We will have our FAMOUS “White Elephant” bag
sale. Come early to ensure that you are able to get in on the fun. The bags go
like “Hot Cakes”.
We will be awarding many prizes. Some free basket
& gifts and some baskets & gifts with door tickets, and some with
special purchased raffle tickets.
We will also have a 50/50 drawing.
SUNDAY morning PJ
Breakfast will also have a “Slipper Contest”.
Prizes will be awarded for most elegant, best all-around and most
outrageous slipper. So get busy and design your slippers for the contest. Cost
for the full breakfast buffet is: $20.00
Shopping with Mike Carter of “Jolene
Fashions” and Pam Spurlock of “Elegant Hats
& Bling” will be open for business on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. and possibly on Sunday (depending on room availability) for your
shopping pleasure. YOU
MUST BE REGISTERED FOR LUNCHEON OR BREAKFAST TO SHOP.
This is the time Ladies that you can purchase that new
outfit you have wanted to get or that BLING that everyone is wearing and you
are admiring. These vendors will have an array of merchandise and at very
reasonable prices.
We have attached separate registration forms for the
Saturday Luncheon & the Sunday PJ breakfast. Hope you can join us in the
festivities and make this another memorable event.

Please list all that are attending from your chapter
on the correct form and their meal choices, and mail your checks to:

Council of Upstate NY.
You can come to one or both events but must be
registered at one in order to obtain your pass to the Vending Lane to shop with
the vendors.
Remember to be entered into the early raffle have your
checks to Betty by February 29th, 2020.
DRESS CODE: Wear your
best elegant red & purple outfit and hat, (fascinator, or hair clip) for
the luncheon and your red or purple PJ’s or red or purple lounge wear for the
breakfast with appropriate headwear. Remember hair pieces must be large enough
to be seen from all directions and worn on the head not the back of the neck.

This should be a fun filled weekend and you will get
to see and visit with some of your old friends that you have not seen since the
last convention (two years ago) so mark your calendars now and check with your
friends and bring the gang and come and visit us for the weekend.
